Systemic therapy or family therapy considers the person in their relational environment (family, professional, friends, etc.), both in the present and in the past.
Cognitive and behavioural therapy uses practical tools to help treat symptoms directly (such as phobias, OCD and anxiety).
Hypnosis is a natural state that we all experience several times a day (in the moonlight, sporting/artistic activities, driving, reading, etc.). Ericksonian/Conversational Hypnosis is a gentle method that respects the client’s experience and well-being. The therapist’s mission is to go beyond the conscious part of the person and enter into a dialogue with the unconscious to bring out and modify deep-rooted issues.
EFT is a powerful tool for releasing emotions that are blocked in the psyche and body, sometimes from early childhood. It combines body energy with psychology and neuro-linguistic programming.
Support for high-potential individuals and parents of high-potential childrenPsychological support for high-potential individuals can be beneficial at any stage of life, depending on the difficulties encountered. At our centre, we offer tailor-made support, adapted to the needs, expectations and age of each patient.
Parental support enables the parents of a high-potential child to better understand their child’s particularities and unique way of functioning. It also provides them with tools to improve communication at home and at school, and to manage daily tensions and emotional crises, thereby fostering a more harmonious environment that is adapted to their child’s needs.
The aim of parental guidance (educational advice) is to help parents adjust to the specific needs of their child(ren). We offer tools to help parents develop a positive, caring approach to parenting, learn to set limits and manage conflict so that they can rediscover the pleasure of living together as a family.
We also help to detect and recognise the beginnings of parental burn-out, so that it can be avoided or overcome.
We offer psychotherapy for mothers and babies, or for pregnant families,
or for young mothers and fathers. The conception and birth of a child
always destabilises the future parents or the family that has already been built.
During pregnancy and shortly afterwards, life inevitably changes and evolves. Many of
these events can be unpredictable and unexpected, most of them joyful, others
difficult. This is one of the reasons why perinatal support and
psychotherapy can be essential. We work on themes such as
the family, attachment theory (the parent-baby bond), perinatal depression
and post-partum depression.
Sophrology workshops are offered to help with childbirth, as well as on various themes for children and teenagers.
We also offer discussion groups on the theme of high potential.
If you would like to be kept informed of future groups or workshops, please send us an email.
We work very regularly with teachers and other professionals. This is often beneficial, as some children with high potential and/or hypersensitivity experience difficulties at school (boredom, relational difficulties, rejection, etc.) or have other associated cognitive difficulties (dys disorders, hyperactivity, etc.). In this type of situation, we feel it is essential for the professionals working with these children to be able to work together to provide them with better support.
On request, we provide training for teachers on how to deal with high-potential children in schools.
We also offer conferences on the subject and supervision for professionals.
